According to an article by The Chronicle for Higher Education, it seems that the number of students enrolling in online education courses has increased. It reports (from a survey) that there is an 11% increase in the number of students in 2008 over those in 2007. Obviously, it looks like this trend in taking online courses is continuing to skyrocket.

Competition between colleges for students is getting tight, and this means you may be able to get excellent tuition rates, too. If you want to take all your courses online, you will have to check on this prior to enrollment, since not all online degree programs offer this option.
