Online colleges have different types of ways for people to take their classes. While most of them allow you to take them when most convenient for you, some do not give you this option. Some distance learning degree programs have a requirement that you be on campus for a full year if you are to receive a degree from that school. In other situations, some classes may not be able to be taken via the Internet, so you will need to know about this up front.
